Digital Goa, June 11 – Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) detected 61,051 cases of unauthorized and irregular travel during 951 ticket-checking drives conducted across its network in May 2026. According to KRCL, an amount of ₹3.70 crore was recovered towards unpaid fares and penalties. The drives were carried out in coordination with the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and other railway departments as part of efforts to curb ticketless travel.
