Nov 8- Two persons have been arrested by Anjuna police for alleged murderous attempt on a person at Chiwar, Anjuna over property dispute. 32-year-old Mevilton Theodore has been grievously injured in the assault. His 62-year-old father has also sustained injuries, states the complaint filed in this regards by Menilton’s mother Maria. The duo, 54-year-old Digambar Salkar from Dhuler, Mapusa and 33-year-old Akhil Tekkekar from Cuchelim have been arrested for alleged attempt to murder. The Theodore family has alleged that the father and son were attacked by bouncers while Goa Police have refuted the claims and said that the assault was result of fight between 2 groups.
