Digital Goa, Sept 11 – Goa Government has notified enhancement in the daily wage rate under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) from ₹356 to ₹378 for unskilled manual work. The revised rates came into effect from April 1, 2025, as per a notification issued by the State Rural Development Dept. All jobseekers employed under MGNREGA in the state will now be entitled to the revised wage. The new MGNREGA rates for Goa were notified by the Center in March 2025.
