Digital Goa, July 28 – Goa govt is contemplating a multi department scheme aimed at building affordable houses for homeless, CM Sawant told the House today. He assured the House that within 2 months time the scheme will be ready. He was responding to MLA Nilesh Cabral’s Calling Attention on housing for the rural homeless. Govt informed the House that 3,946 beneficiaries have been covered under the Atal Asra Yojana since 2017 and Rs 55.50 crore have been spent on the scheme so far.
