Digital Goa, December 27 – Govt has announced closure of two road stretches under Phase-I works from January 2 to March 2, 2026. The closures include – (Phase -I) (A) from P16 near ODP road to P20 near Damin de Goa; (B) Closure of Road from P61 Kadamba Restaurant to P55 near O’ Coqueiro Junction. One lane will remain open for traffic from Mapusa to Panaji, while heavy vehicles carrying essential commodities will not be allowed on ODP Road from the Mapusa side. Dedicated lanes will be kept for emergency vehicles. Contractors have been directed to deploy traffic marshals at diversion points and provide cranes, under traffic police supervision, to ensure smooth traffic flow.
