Digital Goa, Nov 22 – In a strongly worded statement, Rama Kankonkar has questioned the authorities for not taking his allegations against two politicians as seriously as they scrutinised him. Kankonkar said that two months ago, officials had verified his caste status before adding the Atrocities section to his case. “I cooperated with every step, every question, every document,” he stated. He appealed that the same level of scrutiny be applied to the two politicians he had named in connection with the attack on him. “All I’m asking now is simple and human — please verify and investigate the two politicians I raised doubts about in my attack,” he said, adding that he had lived through fear, survived the pain and was still healing.
