Digital Goa, Nov 19 – The man in the eye of the storm, MLA Nilesh Cabral today said that he was asked by the Central leadership and CM Pramod Sawant to resign from the party. “Central leadership called me and said you have to sacrifice… Sacrifice means resign,” said Cabral. He said this was done to fulfill the commitment given by BJP to the 8 MLAs who had defected from Congress. “I came into politics because of Manohar Parrikar,” he said adding that positions were never significant to him.
