Digital Goa, Jan 7 – Sport Authority of Goa(SAG) has warned all its employees to refrain from circulating copies of official documents on social media or give them to the media, failing which SAG has warned of taking a strong action against them including suspension or terminating their services without any warnings or notice. A warning memo to this effect has been issued as it has been observed from the press reports published in various Newspapers and from the viral massages on social media i.e. WhatsApp, facebook, Twitter etc, that photo copies of SAG office file noting, official Orders, Circulars are being circulated without the acknowledgement of the HOD or the concerned Authority having the possession of the Official records, stated SAG. Pointing out that this act on part of the employees tantamount to serious misconduct, SAG has warned that if such instances are brought to their notice in future, the concerned employee shall be put under suspension or termination without any more warnings or notice. Official noting related to tendering of event management works for U-17 Women’s FIFA World Cup 2022 allegedly without work order were viral on social media. Following this, opposition had alleged of huge scam in the tendering of the work by SAG.
