Digital Goa, October 31 – Speaker of Goa Assembly and Canacona MLA Ramesh Tawadkar has welcomed the proposed film city in Loliem, Canacona for its employment generation capacity and non polluting nature. Speaking to media Tawadkar said that the film city is likely to generate 20,000 employment. Even if half of this target is achieved, Canacona’s unemployment problem will be solved forever, he asserted. The Loliem Communidade has already approved the project and gram sabha will soon pass resolution in favour of film city, Tawadkar said.
