Supreme Court agrees to hear plea of Pakistani national living in Goa since 2016 over visa revocation after Pahalgam attack

Digital Goa, June 5 – A Pakistani national living in Goa since 2016 on a long-term visa has moved the Supreme Court, challenging the Centre’s recent decision to revoke visas of Pakistani nationals following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 people. The plea was mentioned before a bench of Justices Sanjay Karol and Satish Chandra Sharma today, which agreed to list the matter. The petitioner’s counsel informed the apex court that the petitioner who was born in India is not opposed to going back, but requested that his case may be heard as, “in long term visa, there’s a specific condition”.
