Sept 27 – Goa Rajya Sabha MP Sadanand Tanavade has been appointed as member of the Department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Commerce 2024-25 The 10 member Rajya Sabha MP’s committee has TMC MP Dola Sen as its Chairperson. The 24 Parliamentary Standing Committees were announced yesterday. These committees play an important role in scrutinizing policies, legislative bills etc.
