Digital Goa, August 11 – United Tribal Associations Alliance (UTAA) will hold its August 13 protest demanding political reservation for Scheduled Tribes at Mardol after permission to hold the protest at Azad Maidan, Panaji, was denied, UTAA President Prakash Velip informed.Velip said preparations for the agitation were already underway and UTAA leaders unanimously decided that the programme should go ahead on the scheduled date despite the change in venue. He reiterated the demand that the reservation must be implemented before the 2027 Goa Assembly elections.
