Digital Goa, April, 28 – Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has announced that a new Vande Bharat train service connecting Bengaluru, Mangaluru and Madgaon (Goa) is expected to be launched soon.The announcement was made during the inauguration of a high-speed train manufacturing facility at BEML in Bengaluru yesterday. Vaishnaw said the proposed service is in the final stages of planning and is likely to become operational in the next few months. Reacting to the development, CM Pramod Sawant said the Centre had fulfilled a “sincere request placed before the Union Government ahead of the Union Budget”.
