Feb 18- Two persons who were deported to India from USA have filed a complaint against a Vasco based job consultancy agency for allegedly sending them to USA ‘illegally’, without possessing valid recruitment license. Vasco Police have booked Stanley George of Captain George Consultancy Services based in Vasco for allegedly cheating two people of Rs 18.5 lakh by promising them jobs in the USA. The victims were sent to Mexico in May 2024 to cross into the USA illegally but were eventually caught and deported back to India. As per the complaint, Stanely George sent them to USA although he did not have requisite license from the Protector of Emigrants, Government of India, for recruiting of people for employment abroad. The accused took Rs 8 lakh from one of the complainant and Rs 10.5 lakh from the other one by promising them employment in USA in a Hotel or Restaurant.
