Digital Goa, Mar 10 – Panaji Smart City has undertaken 51 projects amounting to Rs 1,051 crore, out of which 42 projects amounting to Rs 849 crore have been completed. 9 projects amounting to Rs 202 crore are ongoing. The information was furnished in the Rajya Sabha by Union Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs, Tokhan Sahu in response to a question raised in this regards by Rajya Sabha MP Sadanand Shet Tanavade. As on March 4, 2025, Panaji Smart City has been able to claim central financial assistance of Rs 441crore under Smart Cities Mission (SCM), out of which Rs 411 crore have been utilized, the reply adds. Incidentally, March 31 is the deadline for completion of all ongoing projects under Smart City Mission.
