Cumulative water storage in 7 Goa dams stands at 38 %

Digital Goa, April 21 – With the onset of the monsoon still over a month and half away the cumulative water storage in all seven major dams providing water to the state currently stands at 38%. Against the total capacity of 76,456 hectare-meters, the available water as on date is 29,378 hectare-meters. Water level in 5 of the 7 dams is below 50 %. As of now, individual dam storage levels are: Selaulim at 48%, Tillari at 33%, Anjunem at 36%, Amthane at 38%, Panchawadi at 36%, Chapoli at 56%, and Gaunem at 63%.
