Digital Goa, May 21- Goa government has issued a draft policy for cab aggregators, inviting public suggestions within 30 days of its publication in the Official Gazette. The policy allows taxi drivers to operate through any aggregator app of their choice without installing digital meters, using uniform government-notified fares. To support app-based mobility and women drivers, the government is offering incentives, including insurance premium reimbursements and subsidies of up to Rs 1 lakh for women buying electric cabs. Aggregators with 20% women drivers will get a full renewal fee waiver. Notified hire rates range from Rs 1,050 for regular vehicles for 4 hours to Rs 8,700 for high-end ones for 8 hours.
