Digital Goa, May 22- Rs 68 crore worth Sagar Bhavan and Polar Bhavan inaugurated today at the National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research (NCPOR) in Goa, are set to give a significant boost tor polar and ocean research in the country. The facilities feature advanced laboratories, storage units for core samples, and accommodation for scientific personnel. Polar Bhavan will also house India’s first Polar and Ocean Museum. Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh inaugurated the two facilities during NCPOR’s Silver Jubilee celebrations. The centres will strengthen India’s role in ocean geopolitics, climate studies, and weather research, he said.
