Digital Goa, June 18 – Labour exploitation will not be allowed in Goa, asserted CM Pramod Sawant. Government aims to launch a drive to identify and curb labour exploitation in the state, informed Labour Commissioner.
Goa to launch 16 welfare schemes for construction workers from July 1
The Goa government will begin implementing 16 welfare schemes for construction workers from July 1, using the Rs 600 crore Labour Welfare Fund currently available with the state.CM Pramod Sawant said a review meeting will be held two months after the rollout to assess the implementation and reach of the schemes.
