Govt to conduct academic audit of Goa University after paper leak row

Digital Goa, July 29 – Goa government announced that an academic audit will be conducted and a long-term vision will be chalked out for Goa University in light of recent controversies. MLAs Vijay Sardessai and Viresh Borkar raised a calling attention on the damning Justice Khandeparkar report in the paper leak case. CM Pramod Sawant informed that a team of experts is reviewing the report and their suggestions will be forwarded to the Executive Council of Goa University. Opposition members slammed the Vice Chancellor, accusing him of hushing up the scandal, being anti-Goan, and promoting non-Goan faculty appointments.
