Digital Goa, Aug 7 – Goa government has notified the amended Homestay Policy, offering direct financial assistance to local households in the talukas of Sattari, Dharbandora, Sanguem, Bicholim, Ponda, Quepem, and Canacona. Under the revised policy, eligible applicants will receive an upfront grant of ₹2 lakh to set up homestays, replacing the earlier reimbursement-based model that discouraged rural participation.
