Digital Goa, August 21 – After an Acute Diarrhoeal Disease (ADD) case suggestive of cholera was reported at GMC, 19 cases have been detected at Cutbona Jetty, informed Health Minister. The Directorate of Health Services (DHS) has started screening of workers, testing and cleaning of water tanks, stocking of medicines, and running awareness drives, he said. In coordination with Fisheries Department, local Panchayat, FDA, Sulabh Souchalaya, Deputy Collector, and boat owners’ associations, DHS is focusing on sanitation measures and safeguarding the fishing community, he said further.
