Digital Goa, Sept 4 – CM Pramod Sawant on Thursday said that a committee has been constituted under the South Goa Collector to conduct a thorough inquiry into incidents of student deaths in educational institutions, following the recent death of a student at the BITS Goa campus. The government will decide further course of action after receiving the Collector’s report, he added. This is fifth student death case at the campus in the last 10 months. CM added that a similar committee will also be set up in North Goa. Advisories and instructions will be issued to institutions regarding counselling and preventive measures, he added.
