Digital Goa, September 8 – CM Pramod Sawant has asserted that the Home Department is consistently taking action on issues such as the recent incident in Ekta Nagar, Mapusa. He was reacting to a protest by members of the minority community over alleged harassment by a woman from the majority community. “People should not come on the streets for such types of issues. Police act on time,” Sawant stated, adding that people have become “habituated to coming on the streets in recent times.” Sawant confirmed that action has been initiated and the accused is behind bars.
