Digital Goa, Sept 17 – PWD has floated a tender for the restoration of a lagoon at Siolim which had been affected by illegal filling and construction carried out by a private resort as per High Court order. As per the tender, the restoration will involve demolition of the existing structures and removal of the illegal filling, in compliance with the directions of the High Court under Section 5 of the Environment Protection Act, 1986. The estimated cost of the project is ₹46.67 lakh.
