Digital Goa, Oct 9 – A fishing boat capsized at Rajbag, Canacona while returning from the sea, prompting a swift response from locals and the Coast Guard. The boat, loaded with fish, got stuck in the sand and required a JCB to be pulled ashore. Six fishermen on board were safely rescued. Locals pointed out that heavy sand accumulation along the shore often makes navigation difficult for fishing vessels. Residents have urged the government to take measures to address the recurring problem.
