Digital Goa, Oct 9, 2025 – Road accidents claimed nine lives in August 2025, according to the latest road accident statistics released by the Transport department. The data reveals a total of 166 road accidents occurred across North and South Goa districts during the month, with nine of them being fatal incidents. The report highlights that eight of the nine persons killed were riders or pillion riders and one was a pedestrian. 20 persons received grievous injuries while 40 escaped with minor injuries.
