Digital Goa, October 13, 2025 – Two inebriated men from Rajasthan who created ruckus at Baga yesterday night have been booked for verbally abusing and assaulting police personnel. The accused, identified as Baksa Ram (25) and Gautam Ram (22), both staying at a Resort at Baga allegedly threatened Police Constable Sindesh Sawant and PC Driver Sameer Mandrekar of Calangute Police Station. The accused reportedly caught hold of and pulled the collar of the PCR vehicle driver while he was on duty, using criminal force to deter him from performing his duties. A case has been registered under sections 352, 351(2), 132 read with 3(5) of BNS, 2023.
