Digital Goa, Oct 28 – Canacona Police have registered an offence against one Sidharth alias Umesh from Mastimol, Canacona, and Joseph from Palolem, Canacona, for negligence in connection with the death of an adolescent boy at Palolem. The father of the deceased, Ningappa Lamani from Pansulem, Canacona, lodged a complaint against the duo for engaging his son in hazardous welding work without providing any safety measures. The boy reportedly died of an electric shock while carrying out the welding work.
