Digital Goa, Oct 31 – The Government of Goa has issued draft amendments to the Goa Motor Vehicles Rules, 1991, proposing revised fees for choice registration numbers under the Goa Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Rules, 2025. As per the draft, fees for private vehicles will range from ₹9,000 to ₹1 lakh, and for transport vehicles from ₹4,500 to ₹50,000, depending on the vehicle type and number chosen. The Transport Department has invited public objections or suggestions on the draft within 15 days.
