Digital Goa, Nov 16 – Mollem Police have registered an offence against two men from Karnataka after they were allegedly caught illegally transporting 1,000 kg of beef in a Mahindra Xylo at the Mollem Border Check Post on the night of November 15. As per complaint, the accused — Rizwan Noorhamed Maldar and Shahid Gudusab Shindodi — were allegedly transporting the meat from Kittur, Karnataka, without any valid documents required under the Goa Animal Preservation Act.
