Digital Goa, Dec 1 – MGP the alliance partner in the Pramod Sawant-led BJP government, has been allotted three out of the 50 Zilla Panchayat seats for the upcoming polls. CM Pramod Sawant confirmed the allocation, adding that the BJP also plans to extend support to independent candidates in select constituencies. Sawant further stated that the remaining list of BJP candidates for the December 20 ZP elections will be announced tomorrow, December 2. He was addressing media persons after a meeting held with the 19 ZP candidates already declared by the party yesterday, along with other senior leaders.
