Digital Goa, Dec 8 – A fire broke out at the box-shaped under-preparation set of Serendipity Arts Festival at Kala Academy, Panaji. The incident was reported to the Fire & Emergency Services at around 4:40 pm today. Workers working on the set made frantic efforts to put off the fast spreading blaze before the arrival of fire brigade. Spark during welding work is suspected to be the cause of fire. The fire was doused due to efforts of the workers and fire fighters. This is the second such incident at the festival, following a fire at the Serendipity Arts Festival stage in Inox premises in Panaji in December 2024.
