Digital Goa, Dec 11 – Ajay Gupta, the third partner of Birch by Romeo Lane who was arrested in Delhi and brought to Goa late on December 10, was produced before the JMFC Court in Mapusa on Wednesday. The court remanded him to seven days of police custody for further investigation into the nightclub fire case. Gupta, while being escorted from the court premises, told media persons that he was “just a sleeping partner” and had no role in the day-to-day operations of the nightclub.
