Digital Goa, Dec 28 – The BJP has shortlisted Reis Magos Zilla Panchayat member Reshma Bandodkar as its candidate for the post of North Goa Zilla Panchayat chairperson, while Honda ZP member Namdev Chari has been named as the party’s choice for the vice-chairperson post. In South Goa, Xeldem ZP member Sidharth Gauns Dessai has been selected as the BJP candidate for the chairperson post, and Barcem ZP member Anjali Velip for the vice-chairperson’s position. Informing this, BJP State president Damu Naik said that nominations will be filed tomorrow. The elections for President and Vice President’s posts will be held on December 30, and the swearing-in ceremony will take place on December 31. Naik further said that three MGP ZP members and Independent ZP member Sunil Jalmi from Betqui-Candola have extended their support to the BJP.
