Digital Goa, Dec 29 – A Goa court on Monday remanded Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra, co-owners of the Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub in Arpora, to judicial custody till January 9, 2026, in connection with the devastating fire that claimed 25 lives on December 6, 2024. The order followed the completion of their police remand, which ended today, December 29. Defence counsel Advocate Parag Rao said that no bail application has been filed so far. The court also allowed the supply of prescribed medicines during their judicial custody. Meanwhile, court will hear their bail applications in forged health NoC matter tomorrow.
