Digital Goa, Jan 26 – A 25-year-old man from Mumbai, Sachin Chavhan, was brought dead to PHC Candolim on January 25 after drowning at Baga beach, Calangute. According to reports, Sachin had gone swimming with friends Ramkrishna Surpage (21) and Riyaz Ahmed. While swimming, all three were caught in ocean currents. All 3 were brought out of water. Sachin, who was in an unconscious state, was taken to PHC Candolim, where he was declared dead by the medical officer.
