Digital Goa, July 6 – Goa govt aims to complete the Goa Bhavan on the around 2,000 sq m plot acquired at Pandharpur before next year’s Wari, providing affordable accommodation for Goan pilgrims, CM Pramod Sawant said on Monday. He was speaking at the financial assistance and kit distribution programme for Warkaris. Sawant said financial assistance ranging from ₹1 lakh to ₹5 lakh is being provided to 36 Wari groups comprising more than 3,000 Warkaris to help meet their annual pilgrimage expenses. Sawant also said the Dev Darshan Scheme will be implemented this year as well.
