Digital Goa, July 27 – A woman from Amral, Taleigao succumbed to her injuries after she was allegedly knocked down by a rashly ridden scooter near the Bank of Baroda at Taleigao on July 25. The deceased has been identified as Kavita Kunkolkar, a resident of Amral, Taleigao. According to Panaji Police, the scooter rider, Sudhanshu Yadav (25), a resident of Taleigao and a native of Surauli Buzurg Danda, Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh, allegedly hit the pedestrian while travelling from Taleigao towards Santa Cruz. Kunkolkar sustained serious injuries in the accident and later died while undergoing treatment at Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim.
