Digital Goa, August, 18 – A 34-year-old person identified as Jony Anthonio from Moira, was killed in a hit-and-run accident at Moira Bridge at around 6 am on Tuesday. Anthonio who worked at as a security guard was reportedly walking home when an unidentified vehicle knocked him down and allegedly dragged him for around several metres. He suffered severe head injuries and died on the spot. Efforts are underway by Mapusa Police to trace the vehicle involved in the accident.
