Digital Goa, Sep 4 – The Goa government has directed all departments, corporations, autonomous bodies and PSUs to apply for EPF coverage for contractual employees who joined between April 1, 2009, and March 31, 2026, and continue to be employed on contract.Under the Employees Enrolment Campaign, 2026, employees who were not enrolled earlier can now be covered. No employee contribution will be recovered if it was not previously deducted, states the notification. The employer’s monthly contribution will be capped at ₹885 for the period from April 2009 to August 2014 and ₹1,950 from September 2014 to March 2026. Interest at 12% will apply, while penal damages have been limited to ₹100 per establishment.
