Digital Goa, Sept 9 – Financial assistance under the welfare schemes – Griha Aadhar and Dayanand Social Security schemes will be increased at the earliest, CM Pramod Sawant said today. Sawant said enhancing the benefits was among his Budget promises and was necessary in view of rising inflation. Launched in 2013, the Griha Aadhar Scheme provides monthly financial assistance to eligible homemakers to help households cope with rising living costs. The Dayanand Social Security Scheme, launched in 2001, provides monthly financial assistance to senior citizens and other eligible beneficiaries.
