North Goa District Hospital (Asilo), Mapusa, has successfully performed what has been described as Goa’s first AI-assisted total knee replacement at a government hospital, bringing technology already available in private hospitals into the public healthcare system. AI-assisted technology helps surgeons plan the procedure around a patient’s individual anatomy, supporting precise bone preparation and implant alignment.
