Digital Goa, July 12 – Drishti lifeguards will be deployed at waterfalls as a temporary measure to monitor the activities of visitors, informed CM Pramod Sawant today. Pointing out that nearly 15 to 20 persons have died in the last one and half month due to drowning, CM urged people to take due precautionary measures and not to enter the waters after drinking liquor. Tourists enter the waters without knowing the depth of the water body, Sawant added.
