Digital Goa, Oct 13 – The unique mango heritage of the state is being preserved in a germplasm bank at the Goa Government Agriculture Farm at Durga, Chinchinim. The bank currently stores the genetic resources of 32 mango varieties that are found in various parts of the state. The gene bank is slated to be formally inaugurated on Oct 16.
