Digital Goa, Nov 9 – Goa Government has hiked of Dearness Allowance (DA) of its employees and employees of Grant-in-aid Educational Institutions from 42% to 46% of the Basic Pay. The hike will be with retrospective effect from July 1, 2023. The salary as per new structure will be paid to the employees from the month of November 2023 onwards, along with arrears of the months from July 2023 to October 2023, states the Office Memorandum issued by Under Secretary, Finance. Last month the Union govt had increased the DA for central government employees from 42% to 46%, along with a similar increase in dearness relief (DR) for pensioners. The same hike has been adopted by the state for its employees too.
