5 cases filed by Goa govt before Supreme Court in Mhadei matter; confident we will win says CM

    Digital Goa, Nov 27- Five different Mhadei related cases of Goa govt, including challenge to the Mahadayi Tribunal Award, case against Karnataka Wild Life Warden etc are before the Supreme Court, informed CM Pramod Sawant. As per the daily causelist of the apex court, the matter is listed for hearing on Wednesday, Nov 29 and Thursday Nov 30. All the related cases will be clubbed as single case by SC, he added. Sawant asserted that the Advocate General(AG) and the complete panel of advocates is taking serious review of the Mhadei matter for past several days. He exuded confidence that the way the cases have been filed, Goa will win the case in its favour. “We are very much serious and very much strong,” he added.
    ▪️ Legal and technical team to head to Delhi tomorrow: AG
    “Our legal as well as technical team is going to Delhi tomorrow. Our cousels are ready. We are all prepared and set to argue the case if the matter is called out,” informed AG Devidas Pangam.
