Digital Goa, Dec 6- Goa State Pollution Control Board(GSPCB) has set up 2 model mini sewage treatment plants (STP) at its premises at Saligao.CM Pramod Sawant inspected the plants today. The plants priced at Rs 5 lakh (for 5,000 litre capacity unit) onwards can be used by shack operators for their sewage management during the season, dismantled and reinstalled during the next season. The water from the mini plants can also be reused. If the need be, several shacks can combine together and purchase the mini plants said GSPCB officials. The trial plants at GSPCB office have been developed by BITS Pilani Goa campus and Geobag company from Coimbatore.
