Digital Goa, Jan 23 – Goa Govt Employees Association (GGEA) today met CM Pramod Sawant and urged him to stop the practice of giving extension in service to Govt officers. GGEA told CM that the practice of extension in service is doing injustice to govt servants and urged him to stop giving new extensions and also cancel extensions already given. GGEA also raised the issue of pending promotions due to abolition of posts. They held the Head of Depts responsible for this and requested CM to take action against officers responsible for this.
