Digital Goa, Mar 16 –Voters at select polling stations located in the vicinity of National Highways will be planting medicinal or fruit bearing tree saplings after casting their vote, under a novel initiative named the ‘Green Highway’. In addition the polling team will plant at least 5 plants in each polling station. The plantations drive will be conducted by polling team immediately after setting up the polling booths.
